AB InBev opens a new international hub in Milan

AB InBev moves to Milan, the headquarters becomes an international hub for the activities in more than 20 countries. The multinational’s market share in the country has grown steadily and significantly.

The beer company, with more than 500 brands including Stella Artois, Corona, Leffe and Beck’s, has inaugurated its new headquarters in Gae Aulenti Square.

The new offices reflect the company’s great ambition in Italy, where the share of market has increased steadily and significantly over the past three years. The rate of compound annual growth (CAGR) – in terms of volumes-is +5.6%.

In particular, the company’s superpremium and premium brands have registered a significant increase on the Italian market.

Benoit Bronckart, President of the Central Europe Business Unit, commented: I am very pleased to open the new offices in Milan – which, in addition to being the headquarters of our business in Italy, will also be the headquarters of the Central Europe Business Unit, creating here in Italy an international hub for our operations in more than 20 countries. It is important to continue to invest in Italy and Europe, also giving a strong signal in a complex period for this country and the world. The new Milan offices, which will be home to 240 talented and ambitious employees – of more than 13 different nationalities and with an average age of 33. With the opening of the new offices, we are demonstrating our commitment to Italy, to our teams, and to a better, sustainable future.”
