Pernod buys texan whiskey Firestone & Robertson
The distillery, founded in 2010 by Leonard Firestone and Troy Robertson produces super premium labels TX and Bourbon.
Pernod Ricard perpetuated the series of acquisitions investing in the texan Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co. that produces TX Whiskey at Whiskey Ranch, just outside Fort Worth.
The label is expanding its portfolio including brands like TX, together with Smooth Ambler and Rabbit Hole with also the acquisition of a majority share in the sudafrican distillery Inverroche last month and the brand Malfy Gin last June ( as reported to foodcommunity.it).
“The addition of TX represents a very promising venture which strengthens our portfolio and footprint in the United States,” said Alexandre Ricard, chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard.
